Arctic frontier: shifts in science

Overview

If you are interetsed in applying for funding to support a large-scale deployment of autonomous systems in the high Arctic Ocean, demonstrating how integrated surface and subsurface autonomy, AI-enabled mission planning, and rapid data delivery can advance knowledge, strengthen UK capability, and accelerate innovation, you must express your interest by completing this form by 3 December 2026.

Purpose of the EoI

The EoI will be used by NERC to:

• understand the anticipated volume of applications 
• identify suitable assessors
• provide information to enable NERC to contact potential applicants
