Primary survey questions

This section contains the eight primary survey questions. It is followed by a a set of secondary questions where your response would also be much valued, should you have time.

While this survey is anonymous, we are interested in knowing which part of the finance sector you work in.

1. What type of organisation do you represent?
2. Do you have in-house climate experts?
3. Pain points: Where does inadequacy of the environmental data you currently use create the biggest practical problems for firms? Is this due to granularity, reliability, consistency, timeliness, comparability, interpretation, or something else?
4. Data coverage and gaps: Where are the most important gaps in available environmental or climate data of relevance to your work?
5. Making data usable: What would make scientific or public-sector datasets easier for financial institutions to access and use?
6. If funding became available for collaborative work with environmental scientists, which areas of work / kinds of projects would you be interested in?
7. Adoption: What are the main barriers to adoption of environmental data?
8. Vision: What is your vision for the integration/use of environmental data in 5 years?  How is this different from today, how will data needs change?
