Global Talent visa - Nominate a host organisation
Overview
The Global Talent visa is an immigration route provided by the UK Government to provide a fast and efficient visa offer to those working in science and research.
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is an endorsing body for the Global Talent visa.
We maintain a list of UK research organisations that are able to employ or host researchers through the endorsed funder route. You can see the current list of host organisations here.
To become an approved host organisation, nominees must provide UKRI with evidence that the organisation meets all of the following criteria:
- Has a published research strategy and/or a track record of performing R&I in the UK
- Has received public funding during setup
- Does not distribute profits
UKRI will contact the nominated host organisation to take forward the nomination.
Please note that a nomination is the first step in the process to becoming an approved host organisation and UKRI can not guarantee that a nomination will be successful.
Business GTV hosts
UKRI are looking to expand the list of approved host organisations to include businesses.
If you are a business and do not meet the above criteria, you can register your interest in the possibility of nominating your business to use the Global Talent visa in the future by completing this short form instead.
UKRI will contact you if opportunities become available. Please note that this is not guaranteed.
