**COPY** of BBSRC Food and Nutrition for Health Evaluation: Grant Holder Survey

Overview

BBSRC conducts a rolling programme of evaluations of its significant investments in research, innovation and training. Evaluation activities contribute to the development of BBSRC’s wider evidence base which enables accountability, informs funding decisions, and supports learning to improve policy and practice.

BBSRC are currently undertaking an evaluation of its investments in food and nutrition for health. BBSRC’s Bioscience for Health Strategic Framework defines food and nutrition for health as research to advance understanding of the biological mechanisms through which diets and food, including its components, nutrients, and consumption patterns affect overall health outcomes, and how responses vary between population groups, individuals and across the life-course.

You have been invited to partake in this grant holder survey as you were a PI on a BBSRC food and nutrition for health award which was active between the years of 2015 and 2025. If you have received multiple BBSRC food and nutrition for health grants, please respond based on your overall or average experience.
