UKRI Public Contributor role survey
Overview
UKRI are reviewing how members of the public are named on grant applications for our funding. In 2024, we enabled members of the public to join research teams in our funded grants by applying as Public Contributors within our Specialist grant role. We are now looking to create a formal Public Contributor grant role and to update the role description to capture the needs of our applicants.
This survey is designed to understand your views on where and why this role is needed in research and innovation grants, and what is needed to make it an effective role.
Why your views matter
Your views will be essential in helping us to shape the scope of this role and to ensure that it works well for applicants and facilitates equitable and effective research practice.
We anticipate that this survey will take up to 20 minutes to complete.
