Hartree Centre Impact Evidence and Evaluation
Overview
Hartree Centre helps UK businesses and organisations of any size to explore and adopt innovative supercomputing, big data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for enhanced productivity, smarter innovation and economic growth.
Backed by significant UK Government funding and strategic industry partnerships, the Hartree Centre is home to some of the most advanced digital technologies and experts in the UK.
As part of the Science and Technology Facilities Council and UK Research and Innovation, Hartree Centre builds on a wealth of established scientific heritage and a network of international expertise, helping the UK to stay at the forefront of pioneering computational science and digital innovation.
Our key goals are recorded and reported on regularly and as such, we have several aims for monitoring and evaluating our collaborations:
-
To evidence impact and value from Hartree Centre's programmes to knowledge and research, the economy, the environment, policy and prestige, and society.
-
To inform and accelerate the adoption of advanced computing technologies by gathering industry intelligence, evaluating emerging technologies and demonstrating their value and impact to industry influencers.
-
We will apply digital research and innovation services to industry challenges, using the power of collaborative research and small teams to transform the productivity of people and processes and create economic and societal impact for the UK.
-
Transferring digital assets and skills into UK organisations to maximise the impact of our advanced computing technologies and expertise.
-
We will leverage the expertise and technologies within our network of academic, industry and technology partners, creating and implementing shared visions to maximise the impact of our projects.
-
To plan and produce technology roadmaps and maintain advanced computing technologies and create strong business proposals which secure the future of Hartree Centre.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Why your views matter
To report back on our progress we need to speak directly to you, the users and collaborators on Hartree Centre projects. In doing so systematically and effectively we will define ourselves as key to the UK's research and innovation sector and can therefore continue to carry out the work that we do.
