STFC RAL Space uses Eventbrite to manage registration to our webinars. Eventbrite is a US company and all information you submit here may be stored on US servers. STFC RAL Space will only use your personal details for the purpose of contacting you about the event for which you are registering, but the US have different data protection laws under which this data is stored. We suggest that where possible a work email address is used. Please also ensure that, for as long as you are happy to receive communications from us, you notify us if your information needs to be updated. I understand my image or recording could be used in print and digital media formats by STFC for reporting, communications, teaching and research purposes. I understand STFC is part of UKRI and may share my image or recording with UKRI for use in print and digital media. In addition, STFC may wish to share my image with the media and partner organisation that are directly connected with the event or activity. This may include:
• Internal use – including but not limited to web, digital, social channels and print;
• External use - including but not limited to web, digital, social channels and print;
• Partner and media use - including but not limited to web, digital, social channels and print.
I understand that images or recording on websites can be viewed throughout the world and not just in the United Kingdom and that some overseas countries may not provide the same level of protection to the rights of individuals as EU/UK legislation provides. I understand that some images or recordings may be kept permanently once they are published as an archive of STFC activities. I understand I can request to see a copy of the information STFC hold about me and to request corrections or deletions of the information that is no longer required. I understand I can ask STFC to stop using my image or recording at any time by emailing photography@stfc.ac.uk. I am aware my image will not be used in future publications but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation.
