The Quantum Computing Access Programme: Call for Expressions of Interest

Closed 25 Nov 2024

Opened 8 Nov 2024

Overview

The NQCC is pleased to announce the launch of the Quantum Computing Access Programme. The programme provides access to quantum computing resources for the UK’s quantum computing user community for research, skill development and application development. Dedicated streams will be open for specific user groups, facilitating cloud access to quantum computing resources from a range of quantum computing providers. Access will initially be provided to successful applicants on a three-month basis with a set allocation.

Users from the academic community are now invited to submit a short expression of interest (EOI) for access to quantum computing resources in Q1 2025. Submission of an EOI is a precursor to an invitation to submit a proposal, and will allow the NQCC to confirm demand and align resources for the first cohort of users.

The programme is part of the NQCC’s ‘SparQ’ initiative in support of UK quantum readiness.
