The NQCC hackathon is an opportunity to explore quantum solutions to industrial use cases.
By participating in the NQCC hackathon, it is agreed that:
This activity is conducted in a pre-competitive environment; nevertheless, if a new innovative solution is developed, the inventor(s) will be recognised as the owner(s) of the invention.
All activities are conducted without confidentiality agreements, and therefore, use case submissions should not contain any confidential or IP-sensitive information.
Details of the use case, including datasets, will be shared with the hackathon organisers and participants through a private repository and communication channel. If real data sets are used, no personal data that could be subject to data protection legislation, including GDPR, should be used.
The NQCC reserves the right to publish outputs from the hackathon (upon review and approval from end-users) for the purposes of demonstrating the impact of the hackathon and the work of the NQCC in the industry.
While NQCC may use images/photographs of participants to illustrate publications, it will not use any personal data of participants in such publications without permission.
Hackathon teams will be formed at the discretion of NQCC.
