Agenda - Quantum Computing for Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals
Overview
Thank you for registering for the NQCC's ''Quantum Computing Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals'' sectoral engagement workshop on 14th March at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG
This one-day interactive event will convene leading experts and thought leaders in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals and quantum computing sectors in the UK representing industry, academia, national labs, government, quantum computing tech developers and other relevant stakeholder groups to facilitate discussions and gain feedback from the sector on key topics, including but not limited to;
- The current global landscape of quantum computing within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors,
- UK's current engagement with quantum computing within the healthcare and pharmaceutical domains, coupled with the identification of forthcoming opportunities,
- UK's specific strengths within the global context,
- Exploration of sectoral opportunities for adoption, priorities, and the potential models of support for academic and commercial development and collaboration,
- Discussions around next steps for the sectors, and the role of the NQCC in supporting this.
This workshop is envisioned to be the initiation of a series of events designed to promote and facilitate the integration of quantum computing within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in the UK.
