MRC Max Perutz Award 2024 Entry Form
Overview
All personal data provided to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) via this form will be processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
The Medical Research Council (MRC) aims to create an inclusive environment that encourages excellence in scientific research through good equalities practice. We are working to ensure that the competitions we fund embrace a diversity of people and ideas.
Conducting diversity monitoring of our MRC Max Perutz Award entrants is one of the ways in which we seek to embed equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in all we do. This is to contribute towards creating a research and innovation system that is 'by everyone, for everyone'.
Any diversity information obtained in this form will be used for monitoring purposes only. It will not be included with, or affect the assessment of your entry.
The information you provide will help us to:
- identify under-representation, where we need to do more to attract individuals from certain under-represented groups to submit their entry for the award
- assess impact, and track progress, and the extent to which we are achieving our diversity and inclusion aims.
We recognise that some individuals may still regard this information as private and have therefore included the option of ‘prefer not to say’ in all related categories.
Further information on UKRI support for equality, diversity and inclusion can be found at UKRI Equality, diversity and inclusion. Additional information on how we use diversity data can be found in UKRI Diversity data collection and the UKRI Privacy Notice.
The deadline to submit is by 5:00pm UK time on 17 July 2024. If you experience any issues when submitting your entry form, or have any questions about the award, eligibility and judging criteria or process, please visit the MRC Max Perutz Award webpage or contact the award team: scicommprize@mrc.ukri.org.
Please note the award ceremony will be a daytime event on 13 November 2024.
Please complete the entry form in full. Any form submitted with incomplete or false information will not be accepted. If an open-text question does not apply to you, please enter ‘N/A’ for ‘not applicable’.
