The GTV External Advisory Board - apply to join
Overview
The Global Talent visa (GTV) is a UK immigration category for talented and promising people in specific sectors such as sciences, the humanities, engineering, the arts, and technology, wishing to work in the UK. The Global Talent visa replaced the Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa category in February 2020. More information on the Global Talent visa can be found here.
We are now recruiting for new members to join the Global Talent Visa External Advisory Board (EAB). The EAB, chaired by the Deputy Director for Research, Innovation, Culture and Environment, provides a forum for advice from across the research sector towards the development of the Global Talent visa. By joining the Board, you will have the opportunity to help UKRI shape the development of the Global Talent visa endorsed funder route, and also advise on UKRI's work to develop, understand and also address barriers for international researchers who wish to work in the UK.
If you are interested in joining the GTV External Advisory Board, please complete the application form below. If you have any questions, please contact Izzy (Isabelle.brown@ukri.org)
