Global Talent visa - Nominate a funder for endorsement
Overview
The Global Talent visa is a UK immigration route to provide a fast and efficient visa offer to those working in science and research. UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is an endorsing body for the Global Talent visa (GTV). As an endorsing body, UKRI can recognise other funding organisations as endorsed funders.
We are looking for nominations of both UK and international research and innovation funders to become endorsed funders.
You can see the current list of UKRI endorsed funders here.
To become an endorsed funder, nominated organisations will be required to complete a due diligence process. Please note that a nomination is the first step in the process to becoming an endorsed funder and UKRI can not guarantee that a nomination will be successful.
As of September 2024, updates to the list are currently delayed due to some ongoing process change at the Home Office. However, UKRI are still actively processing nominations, so please continue to submit your nomination(s) below.
Why your views matter
UKRI is the UK's largest public funder of research. We are seeking input on additional funding organisations that we should recognise as endorsed funders under the Global Talent visa.
We are looking to increase the number of endorsed funders to open up more opportunities for talented people to pursue their career ambitions within the UK’s research & innovation system.
Anyone is able to submit a nomination.
