ESRC survey: Social science research skills
Overview
ESRC is embarking on a new approach to how it supports research skills training and capacity building. We are undertaking a phase of community engagement to help shape this, including this survey, through which we want to:
-
understand priorities for researchers
-
ensure our new approach is beneficial to the social science community
-
identify opportunities for us to innovate in our approach
The information you provide will only be used by ESRC. Whilst the survey is anonymous, we do ask for some information about you to help us understand the views of different stakeholder groups. Individual responses will not be shared but results at an aggregate level will be included in our analysis of the survey. Our findings will be shared externally and may be published.
Read our privacy notice for more information.
Why your views matter
Your perspectives will provide important insights that will ensure future funding successfully builds upon, complements and adds value to our portfolio of training and capacity building provision. The results will inform a funding opportunity to take forward this new approach which we plan to publish in summer 2024, with a view to a new investment starting autumn 2025.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
