Welcome to the ESRC Centre for Doctoral Training Plus (CDT+) Student Survey 2026.

This survey is for students funded through The Centre for National Training and Research Excellence in Understanding Behaviour (Centre-UB) only. Please do not complete if you are not a student funded by ESRC or Centre-UB. There are separate surveys for CDT+ Fellows, Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) and Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) students.

ESRC recognise that the student voice is an important factor in evaluating the Centre for National Training and Research Excellence in Understanding Behaviour (Centre-UB). This survey asks about your experiences of your studentship and is organised into the following sections:

If a question does not apply to you, or you cannot offer any opinion on it, then please leave blank or mark “Not applicable”. The questionnaire should take around fifteen minutes to complete. When you arrive at the final 'thank you' page, you will know that your responses have been recorded on our database.

Please do not identify yourself or other individuals (including staff) in your comments. If you have a complaint or need support with any of the issues raised within the survey, please contact your institution.

This online survey has a 'save and return' feature that allows respondents to come back to an incomplete survey response at a later date without losing the information they've already entered as part of their response.
