ESRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) Student Survey 2025
Overview
This survey is for students who were funded through either the Soc-B or Data Analytics and Society ESRC Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs) only. Please do not complete if you were not funded by ESRC or have not been funded through either of these CDTs. There is a separate survey for Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTP) and Centre-UB (CDT+) students.

Notes for completion
If a question does not apply to you, or you cannot offer any opinion on it, then please leave blank or mark “Not applicable”. The questionnaire should take around fifteen minutes to complete. When you arrive at the final 'thank you' page, you will know that your responses have been recorded on our database.
Please do not identify yourself or other individuals (including staff) in your comments. If you have a complaint or need support with any of the issues raised within the survey, please contact your institution.
We recognise that as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, students may have experienced challenges and different ways of working and therefore not all areas within the survey will represent your doctoral journey. Where applicable, please do also include feedback on online provision.
This online survey has a 'save and return' feature that allows respondents to come back to an incomplete survey response at a later date without losing the information they've already entered as part of their response. The user must have cookies enabled in their web browser to use this feature, and the feature is not available for responses that have already been completed and submitted.
