Intent to Submit

Applicants must submit a completed Intent to Submit (ItS) form by 18 March 2025 4:00pm UK time, to be considered for the Research to Advance UK Recycling Capabilities opportunity. You will not be able to apply after this time. ItS information will not be formally assessed and is only required by EPSRC for planning purposes. You are not required to have finalised the details of your application when the ItS form is completed and submitted to EPSRC. We recognise that information provided in the outline proposal, including the names of the project co-leads, may differ from the information provided in the ItS form.

Following the submission of your ItS form, the system does not allow for amendments to your submission. Applicants wishing to amend their ItS form should instead submit a new form, making it clear in the text this is the updated version and to disregard a previous submission. However, no such amendment submissions can be made following the ItS form closing date. If your application does not follow the guidance, it may be rejected. If an application is withdrawn after the intent to submit closing date or office rejected, it cannot be resubmitted to the opportunity.

The personal data you submit for the EPSRC Research to Advance UK Recycling Capabilities opportunity – intent to submit will be utilised by EPSRC for planning purposes, both to establish the volume of proposals to be received and identify unconflicted potential panel members to approach.
