Expression of Interest form

1. What is the proposed title of your Japan-UK joint proposal (required)? Up to 150 characters including spaces
2. Please list both UK & Japan project team members, including any project partners. Please list name, organisation, division/department, role on project and email address.
3. Use this space to provide details of any additional UK/ Japan project team members and project partners, who are intending to be part of the application. A project partner is a collaborating organisation with an integral role in the research. Contributions may be direct (e.g. funding, equipment, staff secondments) or indirect/ in-kind.
4. Select the most appropriate thematic area for your proposal.
5. Summary of proposed research (up to 5000 characters including spaces), outlining the objectives and main research challenges to be addressed. To note: the maximum project duration is up to 3 years. UK budget requests should be up to £897,000 (80% of the FEC) per proposal. Japanese budget requests should be up to ¥200 million per proposal.
