1st UK-Japan Advanced Connectivity Technologies Innovation Forum

Thank you for your interest in participating the 1st UK-Japan Advanced Connectivity Technologies Innovation Forum. Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your Expression of Interest:

1. Eligibility
   This opportunity is open to UK-based researchers and are carrying out research within the remit of Advanced Connectivity Technologies. Applicants should demonstrate strong alignment with the workshop’s themes and objectives.

2. Purpose
   The aim is to bring together leading researchers from the UK and Japan to foster and initiate high-impact collaborations. We are seeking participants who can represent UK research excellence and engage meaningfully with international counterparts.

3. Form Sections
   You will be asked to provide:

   • Your full name, contact and affiliation
   • Your expertise, evidence of leadership, international engagement and justification for how your participation aligns with the workshop goals and contributes to UK-Japan collaboration in Advanced Connectivity Technologies

4. Selection Criteria
   Expressions of interest will be assessed based on:

   • Relevance to workshop themes
   • Evidence of leadership
   • Potential for international collaboration and impact
5. Other considerations that may be taken into account while inviting applicants to the workshop include diversity of disciplines, institutions and career stages.

    6. Submission Deadline
        Please submit your completed form by 12 pm on 31 October 2025.

        Late submissions may not be considered.

    7. Next Steps
        Selected participants will be notified by 3 November 2025.
