1st UK-Japan Advanced Connectivity Technologies Innovation Forum

Overview

The United Kingdom (UKRI EPSRC, with support from DSIT) and Japan (NICT, with support from MIC) will co-host an initial engagement event aimed at accelerating joint research and social implementation of next-generation Advanced Connectivity Technologies. This event will bring together leading researchers and industry experts from both countries to foster collaboration and innovation.

Participants with an interest in cutting-edge research supporting future ICT—such as connectivity enabled by Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), AI-driven technologies in communication systems, and advanced optical networks—as well as those seeking opportunities for bilateral research collaboration or business development between the UK and Japan, are warmly invited to express an interest to attend.
