BBSRC Aquaculture in Southeast Asia Kick-Off Workshop

Closes 6 Aug 2025

Opened 29 Jul 2025

Overview

UKRI-BBSRC warmly invites you to take part in the Kick-Off Workshop for the Sustainable and Resilient Aquaculture Systems in Southeast Asia programme. The event will be held on 08/10/2025 in London, UK at the The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge.

The workshop aims to bring together the four research consortia awarded BBSRC grants, along with relevant guest experts from both the UK and the five Southeast Asian countries of the focus region of the programme – Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines – to solidify existing connections and encourage creation of new links. An important aspect of the workshop is to share expertise on successful impact creation while maintaining and improving social equity and local wellbeing. By bringing various experts on aquaculture, marine environment and the social sciences together, we hope to foster greater collaboration and shared learning, and to provide opportunities for further development of the resulting consortia to drive sustainable impact across the region.

This survey is intended to record your confirmation of participation, as well as the duration of your hotel stay in London, your dietary preferences and other relevant details.

Thank you for your time!
