4. In your own words, please let us know your thoughts on the use of a clarification stage compared to completing a standard review. A standard review involves all panel members independently judging an application against the specified assessment criteria, including identifying any strengths and weaknesses and providing comments directly to the applicant. The applicant is then given an opportunity to respond to all comments made by the panel.
