Rapid Evidence Reviews for the UKRI Research Programme on Gambling
Overview
Following the introduction of the new statutory levy on gambling operators, UKRI is establishing a bespoke Research Programme on Gambling (RPG), funded under the research strand of the levy. As a part of this, UKRI is commissioning a series of Rapid Evidence Reviews (RERs) to help identify evidence gaps within the research and innovation ecosystem relating to gambling harms. The RERs will help to inform research prioritisation and policy development.
The full economic cost of an RER can be up to £50,000. UKRI will fund 100% of the full economic cost.
UKRI will fund up to 30 RER awards for 6 months.
You must be based at a UK research organisation, IRO, or UK registered business eligible for UKRI funding.
This activity will open on 8 Jul 2025.
