The Shanghai Theatre Academy is a prestigious art university for performing art talents in China. STA has cultivated thousands of artists and culture managers in various professional fields for the country, and many graduates have become leading experts and professionals with national and international reputation in the fields of theatre, film & TV, dance and fine arts. They have won numerous grand awards and enjoyed high reputation and influence at home and abroad.

National Institutes for the Humanities (NIHU) are six inter-university research institutes that operate as international centers of excellence in their respective fields as they deepen basic research, as well as conduct interdisciplinary research transcending the confines of research fields. NIHU's mission is to comprehensively explore humanity and its cultures, and through this exploration, to ask what true abundance is, to promote harmony between nature and humanity, and to contribute to the survival and coexistence of humankind.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is the largest public funder of research and innovation in the UK, investing more than £9 billion annually spanning all disciplines and all sectors. We are nine councils, drawing on our unique breadth and depth of expertise to work with government and other stakeholders to enrich lives, by increasing our understanding of ourselves and the world around us, supporting innovative businesses and public services, and creating high-quality jobs throughout the UK.  

The Arts and Humanities Research Council funds world-class, independent research in subjects from philosophy and the creative industries, to art conservation and product design. Our research addresses some of society’s biggest challenges, such as tackling modern slavery, exploring the ethical implications of artificial intelligence, and understanding what it is to be human.
