DESCRIPTION:UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the Department for Enviro
 nment\, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) will launch a funding opportunity f
 or a Climate Change Adaptation hub shortly. This funding opportunity is pa
 rt of the Maximising UK adaptation to climate change programme.\n\nThe hub
  will aim to provide evidence around how to increase the resilience of peo
 ple\, ecosystems and infrastructure in the UK to cascading climate impacts
 . The hub will convene a transdisciplinary team of academics\, policymaker
 s\, external practitioners and other relevant stakeholders to support the 
 UK in achieving a climate change adaptation plan that provides both local 
 and national solutions.\n\nThis webinar will cover:\n\nan overview of the 
 funding opportunity\n\nwhat UKRI and Defra are looking for in applications
 \n\nthe application and assessment process including applying through the 
 UKRI Funding Service\n\ntime for questions and answers
