We recognise that doctoral landscape awards will form part of your institution’s wider doctoral training landscape, and your response can represent this wider context.

Explain how your doctoral landscape award programme:

  • has a clear vision and objectives to deliver high quality doctoral education. You can provide details on strategic vision for distributing the funding, with respect to the following:
    • EPSRC priorities, national needs and your research organisation’s priorities, including support for the health of fundamental and applied research disciplines.
    • How you will balance the doctoral landscape award funding with the wider doctoral funding your research organisation receives
    • If you have previously received EPSRC doctoral training partnership funding, you can provide evidence of how you used the funding to deliver similar objectives.
  • outlines research and innovation expertise in designated disciplines to provide training and address skills and capacity challenges within the research organisation and partners
     
  • will deliver positive outcomes and impacts for students, society and the UK economy.
     
  • will contribute to the development of your collaborative relationships, including with business and other organisations engaged in research and innovation.
