What the assessors are looking for in your response:

Provide evidence that the team leading the delivery of this award collectively:

• have appropriate capacity, experience and skills to support the number of studentships you expect to deliver through the doctoral landscape award.
  • For this, you are encouraged to consider all roles involved in delivering doctoral training, which may include professional research investment and strategy managers, research technical professionals and research software engineers.
  • Skills are likely to include project management, leadership, stakeholder engagement, administration, supervision and research, capabilities in research investment and strategy and pastoral capacity.
  • Institutions are expected to demonstrate appropriate capacity and capability to ensure all students funded through this award receive a high-quality doctoral training experience. This capability is likely to be distributed across the institution, and this can be reflected in responses. We also appreciate that the level of leadership and management required will depend on the size of your landscape award.
